V3 Wins First Place in the Renewable Power Division of the Global Industry Finals for US China Innovation Alliance

Following V3’s Best in Show win at the Houston competition in May, Dr. Cory was invited to compete in the Global Industry Finals in Changsha, Hunan, China on November 8 – 10, 2019.

V3’s radical redesign of large-scale wind power won First Place in the Renewable Power Division of the global competition beating more than two dozen other green technology companies.


V3 Technologies is a transformational advancement in large-scale wind power that is expected to produce up to 50X more power than a wind farm of the same size using traditional 2MW turbines.  In addition,  V3 expects to provide a dramatic reduction in both the cost and the volatility (“intermittency”) of the power it produces compared to traditional turbines, while essentially eliminating harmful effects on the environment such as bird kill and infrasonic noise .

Dr. Cory was invited to present V3’s  next-generation multi-megawatt wind power system to the judges and esteemed international audience.   V3 Technologies was awarded Best in Show Winner at the US China Innovation Alliance Competition held May 16-17, 2019 in Houston, Texas.

Having won Best in Show, Dr. Cory has been invited to participate as a Global Semi-Finalist in the Changsha, Hunan Competition to be held in November 2019.

Ann Banks and Jared Walker join the V3 Advisory Board

Ms. Ann Banks and Mr. Jared Walker have agreed to join V3’s Advisory Board.  Ms. Banks has become a leading expert in the power industry of North America over the past 20 years and has served as a senior executive at Calpine, Sindicatum, and Summit Power.  Mr. Walker is a leader in the information technology sector having served as a manager and / or executive at Oracle, Hewlett Packard, OneView Health, and as co-founder of Complete Computing Services.

V3 Advisory Board Formed

Dr. David Flint and Mr. Stephen Nash have agreed to help form a new advisory group focused on the development, testing, and eventual commercialization of V3’s utility scale wind amplified power system.  Dr. Flint is a professor of business strategy at Texas A&M University and a leading expert in the field of strategy and entrepreneurship.  Mr. Nash holds a JD and a Master’s degree in international tax and accounting and is a former lead for international tax at Deloitte Consulting.
